I like this. I have a profile with multiple images, and they are not all of the profile's character. Like one of the images might be a family member, or they might be different aspects of the character, like for furries that want to switch between feral, anthro, and even human form. I have a character on F-list that has three different aspects depending on whether the setting is Modern, Modern Fantasy, or a Tribal/Fantasy/Post-apocalyptic setting. Being able to embed the profile images down in the description would let me refer directly to each one as I describe these aspects of my character, or describe the family member in question, etc.

Alternatively, when setting up an image, let us enter descriptive text, and then when expanding the image, it opens the image in a page with the descriptive text, rather than just displaying the raw image. Or both! But really, I'm very much in favor of this idea.
