Feedback ยท "Syncing changes to the server..." Forever (solved)

The "Syncing changes to the server..." message remains indefinitely. Refreshing the browser is the only way to return to editing your profile. Changes aren't saved.

This only occurs when you attempt to save an actual change made in your profile, as far as I can tell.

Can you pin down what change specifically causes it? I can't find a way to trigger this.

Krinvar

This also happens to me, it seems to only happen on the 2nd time i dont really know what causes it.

Krinvar

Id endorse it, but.... my 50 points are withheld for applying new interests and traits into the system. It provokes more progression than applying points here.

I just did a bunch of editing in all kinds of various ways and wasn't able to reproduce once. It does not appear to be triggered by editing/saving more than once while on the page. Any other ideas?

Krinvar

It doesnt seem related to any of the interests, besides the fact you have edited them. Sorry I think it is a problem that is just for certain people. It seems like it has to do with something on our browsers.

Wrecked Avent Site Administrator

Hmmm... I won't be able to fix it if I can't reproduce it.

Wrecked Avent Site Administrator

No, the last published update was on 11/15.

Wrecked Avent Site Administrator

Is anyone still experiencing this?

Wrecked Avent Site Administrator

No one seems to be still having the issue, so I am closing this.
