related to Pose Roleplay Scenarios to a Profile

I think a system for people to leave comments on a character's page would be appreciated, with the option to disable them if desired. Perhaps also give people the ability to categorize their comments section into custom partitions, for instance, an "IC questions" section for like an ask.fm-style thing, and an "OoC questions" section for asking about available times to RP and other questions about RP. These partitions could be customizable by the person behind the character page, perhaps up to a limit of 5 partitions. And please, for the love of all that is holy, give us the ability to edit, delete and block messages on the comments tab. XD

If possible for that last bit, yes. But honestly, I'd really it just be a single guest-book style thing. This is an RP website, not ask.fm and if you want to have those sorts of Q&A things answered by you, you can always use that or put them in your description.

It is not likely I'll be adding much to the profiles which is/can be OOC.

Avent, what I meant by "OoC questions" was that people could ask the player questions about RP, and out of character. For instance, if the player would be available to RP on a particular day or to give them critique about their character or give suggestions on ways to improve their RP skills and so on. Versus an "IC questions" section, in which people ask the characters themselves, to which their player would reply to the question as their character would (what I referred to as the ask.fm-style thing). I was not suggesting a function to ask players questions about their RL lives. That'd just be silly and possibly invite all kinds of legal grief upon the site and its users.

I think, instead of having a kind of comments/ask system which could potentially attract the wrong kind of people ("hurr durr ask me about sex") we could have users pose random writing/roleplay prompts, such as "Someone your character is inexorably attracted to walks into the room. How does your character respond?", which would allow people to see the character in a more concrete way while staying IC and on topic.

Things a comment system might also cover, such as asking for critique, can be better served with functionality actually on the play itself. See this.

@Avent: I actually quite like that idea. So, kinda something like a forum game. It could prompt group participation and discussion rather than one person singling out one character at a time and asking them the same questions over and over. Perhaps even have a section specifically designed for people to submit their characters for "peer review", if you will.

I have merged this suggestion with 'ask' into the idea I pitched above. Endorse it if you like it.
