Feedback ยท After creating a character, go to /profiles/my or to edit character (implemented)

Right now, after a character is created and saved, you are sent to /profiles (browse all profiles). Logically, however, you will almost certainly want to edit your new character, so why not go directly to /profiles/my (browse your own) instead, if not directly to editing that character? This would probably require alteration to the tutorial, so it's insidiously less trivial than it superficially appears, and it's a minor pain point so maybe not that big a deal - but on the other hand, it's a pain point that's going to hurt most when you're a new user, which isn't ideal for making a good first impression. Probably a 'maybe someday later' type of issue, but just pointing it out so it doesn't needlessly go entirely unnoticed.

I am actually planning an entirely new experience with creating profiles, such that you pick a bunch of things that describe your character (like 'male', 'human', 'marvel universe', etc) then pick some interests you like, then pick a name and you've made a profile.

However it'd still probably be a good idea to redirect to the thing you just created.

Got something to say? Why don't you register and participate?
