My partner and I were trying to figure out when we could see the indicator that one of us was typing. After a few poses she realized it's at the top of the roleplay, below the setting.
Don't know if it's feasible to move some kind of 'soandso is typing' or 'stopped' or 'entered text' above the post box and below the RP itself. We always had to keep scrolling up and down the lot to see the info. Good news is it jumped the browser back to the bottom when a new post came in.

Yeah, this is tricky. Before I had the typing notifications (with the avatar box and all) right above the input box, and people really didn't like it, because it pushed their post preview way up and could even push a new post off screen.

Yeah, it was easier with the chat mode (which has typing mentions near the post preview). But the solution won't be moving the entire avatar box down, as that'll just annoy people. I'm sure there's a way to inline typing notifications though.

This has been implemented in the sense that there is now typing notifications more near the entry in standard (non-chat) mode. For reasons discussed in the comments, the entire involved characters box was not moved with it.
