Scenarios: If a user wishes to delete a profile, they still have a backup in case they would like to re-instate it at a later date. Or at least have a spot where all their context notes are for any other use, or perhaps to copy interests and traits from one profile to another.

Maybe instead of deleting or backing up, a profile could be placed into a sort of "hidden mode" where it doesn't show up on searches - this would also accomodate this other suggestion about profiles on haitus: profile activity notice (litphoria.com)
There's already the ability to import traits/interests/preferences, along with contexts. That and being able to hide profiles would solve this problem.
Okay, so even though a hide/unhide feature would solve most of the issues, backup for backups sake might still be something that some find useful. If you're one of those, endorse this heartily.
