Go to RP, read entries, end up at bottom, what now? Scroll back to top to locate the next page link. Adding page number links to bottom of page would be more convenient.

Pagination and IC/OOC filter on the bottom of roleplay's page

So, I thought about this, but the placement will have to be very careful. If it is placed above the input box (close to the content) people would have more distance between them and their post preview / incoming posts, which is a bad thing. If it's placed under the input box, it may not even be seen.
Well, actually, it is a little worse than I outline above. I just got a notification of something in OOC chat. I go there, and automatically start trying to scroll to the bottom. Wait, this is old stuff. I scroll back up, and see I'm on page 1 of 2. Okay, click on 2. I then need to scroll down to the bottom again to get to the latest post, read it, and decide to enter a reply. Hit Submit. Screen refreshes, and I'm at the top again, not noticing what page I am on. Scroll to bottom. I see that I am on the first page again. Scroll all the way back up and hit 2. Now scroll all the way to the bottom to see your post.
I know this is kind of combining multiple issues now, regarding where you land when first returning to an RP, number at bottom of page, and jumping back to first page after submitting a post. But there are two different points where links at the bottom would have been nice to have.
I really think you need to consider the input box and preview living in the same section. As it is, you have things that push the preview up anyway (when page is scrolled to absolute bottom), and then also the input box can also jump up and down violently sometimes, when there is high post frequency.
I think the input box needs to be the anchor of all, and any new element that pops up, or a new line in the preview, all cause the page to grow longer without budging the input box, OR the input box is just under the preview, and the preview is rock solid. And JUST above the input box, regardless of other elements that appear and disappear. Preferably, the bottom of the preview is rock solid, and a new line makes everything bump upward, instead of growing downward from the top of the preview. This would have the least dislocation to the eye of text you are focusing on, whether the user focuses on the input or the preview, either way. Making this it's own suggestion now.
FYI, That last comment is pretty old now, and some changes have made it obsolete, in the specifics. It was incidental to the OP, anyway, having to do with spacing between input box and previous posts, dynamic variation of this space, and things that have been changed since then.
This is a bug report: This feedback shows I have 11 points in this, and that I could add more if I had them, however, the list of my endorsements only shows four feedbacks, that do not include this one. The total of my four listed feedbacks is already 100. This means I have at least 111 points actually in active feedbacks.

I just placed it at the exact bottom of the page and it seems to sit fine. Playing with it on the testing server.
Yay, this is still a major little irritant to me. So it's like the biggest little change you could make. Thanks!
