I had started profile with the avatar and other images shown currently on profile, but at one point I did delete the initial avatar image to replace it with a tweaked image. Thus this editing may have put my actual profile data into a slightly different state than it would have been by default.

It shows properly on my profiles now.
I mean series pages, not profiles.
