Feedback ยท Pasting links without inputting text (implemented)

When you paste a link and not put text to act as a link (as in, zero characters in [] ) the link is not shown at all, and thus inaccessible. Most apparent in chat, where it can lead to sending empty messages

Well, what do you think sending an empty link does ... ?

Roel

No empty link - I meant this: [](www.google.com)
If you parse it, it doesn't appear at all - I would expect it to just show the adress as link, like this: www.google.com

How about when you paste in the link without highlighting a word it defaults in the domain of the url and highlights it, so you can start typing and replace it with w/e?

Roel

Yes, that makes a lot more sense now that you mention it. And makes what was the main point, which is providing a failsafe for quick paste-send combination.

Okay. I'm okay with that as a solution.
