Hey all!

I have just pushed out an update that allows you to watch and view new posts to a roleplay live. This also allows you to see typing notifications and other people who are watching the roleplay live as well. This update also introduced post previews for news, roleplay, and feedback posts.

Posts Update Live

By default, your posts will still work as they did before, albeit now the roll command is hidden behind a button and the character select uses your active character. However, whence you hit the 'connect to roleplay session' just above your post entry, things get more interesting. Your active character list will be replaced with characters connected to the play currently. Note that in a public play, it will only list characters who have been invited or have posted once. So if you have a public, anyone-can-post play, randoms who connect to the session will not show up on the list, but will still see your changes live.

People can connect to the session if they are allowed to post in it. This gives you some level of privacy so you can make public-to-view but not public-to-post plays give away your typing or online status.

Speaking of, typing status! Currently this is unlimited and pings every 15 seconds if you are still typing. If it comes to be that there are large rooms with lots of concurrent typing I'll have to limit this in some way, but we're not there yet, and we may not get there, with how plays are structured.

Finally, being connected to a play will cause all posts, whether made also through a live interface or posted normally, to appear on your screen without having to refresh it, as they are made. Notifications that would normally be generated for that play are silenced when you are viewing it live.

Note: This currently is not implemented for private inbox messaging.
