In the simple case, accidentally going backwards to a previous page does not lose all of a post. However, I have lost a massive amount of typing to the point of being demoralized when having two profiles active on two different tabs. The scenario is when the second profile tries to post into an RP in which it has been active, an error message page appears. Going back to the RP page shows that the post has been lost.

The posts should not be wiped until there is a successful message or you switch characters, as each post is saved per character per play.

Well, the issue is that I'm on two tabs. I see a message or invitation or something and go, on that tab, to a different profile. I might have made a post on this different profile on an RP it is in. On the other tab I was composing a necessarily long reply. When I tried to post it, I got the jump to the error notification. When I went back, my post was gone.

Turns out this happens frequently if you are trying to work with two or more profiles. There is no live feedback that a tab is not going to be able to post the message, so if you forget that you've changed character on another tab, you can lose a lot of work, and it is easy to fall into this trap again and again.

After making a new character, I suddenly realized I really want to play two different characters in the same multi-character RP. Maybe on the same tab, switching back and forth won't have the lost-post problem, but it would be really nice to have each character open on different tabs, or facilitate easy posting as each character, one after the other. Right now, trying to run two characters on different tabs will incur the lost-post problem, and the nature of it really means you are better off just using one tab and switching characters. But with the tab jumping to the main page upon character switch, it is tiresome to do this back and forth.

To reproduce:

• Start with a profile in chat or Standard RP.
• Open a second tab in an RP in Standard mode, not a chat, and switch to a profile for that RP that is active and not the profile you are currently using, obviously.
• No need to post on the second tab, but that is usually the point of switching. I tested both ways.
• Return to first tab and switch back to first character. No need to post here either, just switch.
• Return to second tab and try to post. You get the Cannot post with a character that isn't allowed to post in this roleplay. error.
• The post you tried to send is lost.

This should no longer be possible (at least until you refresh and the active character is updated on the old tab).

Confirmed with a few people that this is no longer an issue.
