Feedback ยท Traits and interests are greyed out for anonymous/public users because of comparison (solved)

I just showed my friend who doesn't have an account here my profile, and learned that profile comparison kicks in even if you're not signed in. That means from the anonymous reader's perspective, we'll have the messages showing up about 0% compatibility and 0% like, but worst of all all my interests will be faded out.

This is really bad for sharing profiles offsite! The 0%'s should not show up, and the interests should not be faded! I can't use Litphoria for off-site profiles this way.

Also, since there won't be a comparison column for anonymous users, traits should probably go into a two-column view.

(On a related note, while comparisons are loading, interests are faded by default. They should instead show up normally by default and some of them fade out when comparisons load, in case comparisons take a bit to load - that can happen on a phone or tablet. That could be 2 birds with one stone here.)

I would have the behavior for non-signed in users actually probably be something like a marketing blurb to indicate there's really hot functionality here that we currently can't utilize, perhaps with a link to a demo page.

But yes, it shouldn't s how 0% or gray out them out.

I'm not sure how to interpret how you might show that marketing blurb. I won't mind at all if you want to mention the comparison tools, but please do so in a way that's somewhat discreet, like a sentence in the top right of my traits or something that isn't too hard a sell (like "(sign in to see character comparisons)"). I would not want the entire right hand space to be used for that! (I never like hard-to-ignore hard sells of "look at these things you could have!" in situations where I'm just trying to do my thing (like read a profile), and I would be very uncomfortable if my profile were a vessel to that. The profile's already marketing on its own!)

Or "Sign in to compare this to one of your characters"?

I updated the title and some other parts of this and it's gone back to new.

Can this be fixed soon? I'm not comfortable with all the profiles on the site being broken for visitors... If I want to show it to others or use it off site, people just get a broken profile, which makes it not useable.
