New genitals options: 'cloaca (male)' & 'cloaca (female)' (needs discussion)
I propose the addition of two new options for the genitals trait: cloaca (male) and cloaca (female).
The rename of the genitals trait from male/female to penis/vagina caused some trouble for characters with cloacas (as expressed in genitals and genital type (litphoria.com)), 'cause they didn't have an applicable option. Genitals: other & genital type: cloaca would just leave them unable to distinguish who can produce sperm from who can produce eggs, which is probably important!
There is, of course, already a cloaca option in the genital type trait. If the new WIP profile editor lets us set preferences independently of our traits, this could mean genital type can just drop the option of cloaca altogether as redundant and cloaca'd characters won't have to pick an option from it and can just set preferences on genital types regardless.
(We originally renamed genitals to penis/vagina because players were uncomfortable picking, say, "genitals: male" for their transwoman character, because they're not male. I don't know how relevant this is to our current/future cloaca'd character population. If you'd rather those two cloaca options be named differently, let me know.)

I think they didn't want their sex defined as male. Cloaca is a genital type. So I would say, either go back to male/female, or add "other".
That concern was raised by transgender people concerned with penises/vaginas.
If there's similar people in the cloaca community i'm all ears on what they'd like to do about it; that's part of why I put this in one place together.
Cloaca is a genital type, but there's two kinds of cloaca, and one of them is for the males and the other's for the females, and it's important to distinguish them, probably.
Then it should be added to the "genital type" trait.
I'm not keen on suggesting that since i feel strongly that the genital type trait exclusively describes the dick and should be renamed to penis type with cloaca removed (because it's a "n/a")
Though there is a difference between sex and gender, I do totally understand that the attribution of sex to genitals carries the connotation of gender with it; it does make it difficult to be precise without making community members feel uncomfortable. And on the other side, calling it Cloaca(Sperm Producing)/(Egg Producing) seems very cumbersome and unattractive, which is obviously not something to be ignored, either.
And while I don't have anything that can totally solve the issue, I do have an idea that addresses it, and also the inclusion of cloaca on a potentially renamed "penis type" trait: Cloaca w/ Psuedopenis. While this would not address characters with sperm-producing cloacas WITHOUT a pseudopenis, it certainly would make it easier for those that do; in my experience, a lot of male characters with cloacas DO have a psuedopenis, so removing it from a "penis" category would be rather troublesome. This would also be an ungendered means of distinction, which I would hope would make trans members of Litphoria more comfortable including their characters on here.
But that's just my idea, and by the looks of it, I'm posting to a rather dead thread. But, oh well.
