Feedback ยท Remove the intermediary page in notifications, and take us straight from Inbox to the thing. (implemented)

I understand there may be some purpose to the intermediary screens, which I've missed or haven't seen.

At the moment, though, I am clicking a lot of links like Your feedback is now needs discussion, and getting a page that doesn't add any information and requires one more click. When they do add more information, like a comment notification, the intermediary page adds a short enough comment it could be integrated into the original link.

Instead of the intermediary page, it would make sense in these cases to just blend the intermediary information into the notification itself and remove the intermediary pages.

(Maybe one of the purposes of the intermediary page is that in a roleplay it'll tell you the content of a new post or something - I'm not sure - but in that case the equivalent will be served by forwarding you to the post itself.)

The "intermediate" screen is there right now so that you can delete it. I had imagined other purposes for it but I have since decided to keep the notifications as light weight as possible. This will likely be stream lined with combine messages in notifications.

As a compromise, for the time being, would it not be possible to make them deletable from the notifications page? Put a small 'x' next to the notification and when clicked, it clears it.

WA is trying to keep LItphoria Phone-friendly. Adding small buttons here and there makes handling the site via phones more ...difficult. On another hand, browsing on a phone is tedious, and following links is even worse!

Oh, this doesn't use a mobile version? Personally, with phones, I would rather have a smallish button than have to go forward through two screens over and over, because each page load can be tedious on a phone.
