Heikki is a young woman making her way in the Old World by way of magic show and supernatural aid. Originally a student at the Bright College, she diversified her abilities in her time as a journeyman wizard, learning cantrips and hedge magic in addition to the standard array of Aqshy spells.

Orphaned at a young age, Heikki was given to the care of her paternal uncle, who taught at the Jade college at the time. As she got older and he spent more time in the forests of the Empire, he arranged for her to be tutored at the Bright College in Altdorf. A largely male space, Heikki made a name for herself as a dedicated wizard with a temper matched only by the fireballs she threw. Staying in contact with her uncle via raven, she had only just finished her Journeyman exams when she received a final missive, hastily scrawled onto bloodied parchment. The writing was garbled but the message was clear: her uncle was in danger. With the Collegiate seal on her belt to protect her from roving Witch Hunters, Heikki set out to find her final remaining family - or, as she feared, find what was left.
