Rust and bronze, grease and sweat. Patches of sunlight are sparse this far down. We see one patch slide along a solar panel, only inches from falling off. A hand appears, reaching, stretching, straining. It connects. The panel slides back into the sun. The hand disappears. The door slides shut. The Psiioniic steps over a box overflowing with loose parts in the narrow hall. “Ok, I’m back.” He says to the smartphone that sits on the edge of the stove. "You were saying?"

The basic idea was that their character worked for Death as one of Death's Crows. They're normally seen in the wake of large battles or plagues, tidying up and putting the dead to rest. The von Turginev family did something to gain Death's favor, so after 22 out of 23 of them were murdered, Death sent a Crow to help the family get back on their feet. Long-term plan was that they would stay until Von Turginev was satisfied with the legacy she'd leave behind.

There, in the middle of a lake—shimmering with the moons' light—had stood a peculiar elf, concealed by nothing more than the water, and singing the song that seemed to enrapture the forest.

So! I have become a major fan of this little ship, Alastor and Lucifer, it might not make much sense in the canon, but that's the point of roleplaying in my opinion, making things that wouldn't happen in the canon happen!
